I can’t wait for The Hating Game to come out, but I don’t know… I mean, sometimes the book is better you know? I’d hate to be disappointed, but then again I’ve watched the Bridgerton Series on Netflix like twice so…
Ohhhh – well. Erm. I might have a well-earned nap haha. I’m thinking cakes and take away with the family in the evening but in the day I’ll be thanking all the fabulous people such as yourself for inviting me on their blog posts, or reviewing my book, or just generally shouting about my book. I will always be so grateful to reviewers and bloggers for spreading the word.
I wrote my first picture book when I was 8 I think. It was about giant ice monsters. Ever since then I’ve bought new stationery and started a new tale. Nowadays I do all of my writing on my laptop but yeah, I can’t really stop (and despite the laptop I still purchase ALL the pretty notebooks). Having said that it’s only in the last five years that I’ve actually found my stride and wrote full length novels. But that’s a story for another day.
How can people follow you or connect with you on social media?
As they immerse themselves in the glamorous and mysterious world of ‘The Suits’, growing closer as a result, Smithy has to question whether his time with Mya is destined to become a case of ‘what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’ ….
From the back of the book
I always do. I cannot keep myself away. Even if I tell myself to have a couple of weeks off, I soon start itching to write something again soon enough, or at the very least planning out possible ideas.
Really sorry but you’re lucky I got it down to three haha.
But yes I’m from Manchester and I do my writing around my full time job and two mini-monsters that me and my other half are somehow in charge of.
What’s your favourite book you’ve read in the past few months? Or favourite three if you really can’t choose!

Well, I saw Choc-Lit had a ‘Search for a Star’ competition and I thought why not*. The winner was actually the amazing Christine Penhall, she is incredible and I more than happy to be her second, and competition runner-up.
When Mya is with Smithy, it feels like her eyes are constantly rolling. His wheeling and dealing charisma charms everyone but her. Well, that’s not strictly true – Mya is only human after all, and there’s no doubt the man is hot with his suits and swagger. It’s just that Smithy knows Mya’s secret, and she’s not sure she can trust him to keep it from their group of friends.
I’ll tell you a secret I CANNOT title a book. So the original title for this was Book 3. Sorry haha.
If you were on Desert Island Discs, what one book would you take with you?
Ahhh – this is SUCH a tough question. Can I not just take my kindle lol. Ok if it was just one then I would want it to be either: The Hating Game by Sally Thorne, or maybe the Magpie Lord by KJ Charles.
(that was as close to a nutshell as I could get – sorry)
*Please note that whilst it sounds very chill, pressing send on that email was incredibly nerve-wracking.

Hi Joanne, thank you so much for inviting me on your blog, this is so lovely and I’m so thrilled to be here. So hi, I’m Lucy Keeling, author of sexy romcoms. (I originally typed that as sexy romcom author, but I’m typing this whilst in my PJ’s, covered in crumbs and seconds away from eating more Easter Egg chocolate so…)
What inspired you to start writing?
I’m really looking forward to reading the Intimacy Experiment by Rosie Danon, and next on my Kindle TBR list in Strictly on Ice by Helen Buckley.
I’m mostly on Instagram: @lucy_k_author
Thanks for joining me Lucy. First of all, would you tell my blog readers a little about yourself?
My author in the spotlight today is Lucy Keeling whose third book, Just Friends in Vegas, was published by ChocLit yesterday. This is the third book in her ‘Friends’ series. Read on to find out more about her books and what she’s been enjoying reading recently.
Do you have a work in progress just now?
How did you come up with the title for your book?
And finally, if you could be a character in any book you have read, who would it be and why?
What are you reading just now?
Is there a book you’d love to see made into a film?
How do you plan to celebrate publication day?

Is love always a losing game?
I’m so sorry to pick one of my own but… I would LOVE to be more like Mya. She’s a total badass with a heart of gold. She is confident in ways I will never be, she’s gorgeous and lovely, and so supportive of her friends, and when she loves, she goes all in.
Eeek so this is a tricky one to answer without giving too much away. Just Friends in Vegas is the third book in my ‘Friends’ series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone as each one focuses on a different ‘Friend’. However Mya’s career is hinted at throughout the first two books, and then in this one ‘Just Friends in Vegas’, we find out all about Mya, and what it is she’s been up to and why she’s now forced to compete against the handsome and swoon-worthy Smithy as they chase each other around Vegas.
